Ms. Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Dance from Coker University in 2013. She earned a Master of Education from Liberty University in 2016 and a second Master’s in Educational Leadership from Queens University of Charlotte in 2021.
Ms. Brown has 14 years of education experience in traditional and nontraditional settings. She developed her passion for education serving youth and the community through working with the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools and the life examples of her mother and grandmother. During her tenure with the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools, she served as Site Coordinator and Curriculum Trainer. Ms. Brown has seven years of experience as a School Counselor serving in Marlboro and Chesterfield Counties; as well as a Dean of Culture and Director of Counseling at Butler Academy.
Ms. Brown is a member of Kay Branch Missionary Baptist Church and currently resides with her family in Florence, SC.
