A college entrance exam which consists of multiple choice tests that cover four areas:  English, Math, Science, & Reading.  The test also has a writing section that is optional.  (*Note:  Cheraw High School does not host the test on every date it is offered!)

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test
 
A career exploration/skills test designed to measure student aptitude, or capacity for learning, in 8 areas:

                        - Mathematics Knowledge                 - Electronics Information
                        - Auto & Shop Information                 - Mechanical Comprehension

Many high school students (whether they are military bound, college bound, or workforce bound) complete this test to help identify weak/strong areas of aptitude.
 
WorkKeys - 

ACT WorkKeys is a job skills assessment system that helps employers select, hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performance workforce. This series of tests measures foundational and soft skills and offers specialized assessments to target institutional needs.

As part of ACT's Work Readiness System, successful completion of ACT WorkKeys assessments in Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information can lead to earning ACT's National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), a portable credential earned by more than 1 million people across the United States.  If you received at least a level score of 3 for each test, you may qualify for a National Career Readiness Certificate.  You may access a certificate and share testing information with potential employers at www.MyWorkKeys.com.
