Cheraw High School Beta Club/Beta Member Places in National Competition
The last few months, National Beta members from Cheraw High School have been working hard to prepare their entries for the National Beta Convention. In June, they were able to celebrate that hard work when Bayley Hydrick was announced as a winner in the Division I Digital Arts competition.
Cheraw High Beta Club members originally competed and received awards during the NC Leadership Summit and SC State Convention. Their victories at the state level provided an opportunity to compete at the national level. The National Convention, held in Louisville, KY, provided all students the opportunity to compete. Over 7,900 Senior Beta (grades 9-12) students were able to represent their schools this summer.
"This was a wonderful experience for our Beta Chapter. I am proud of Bayley and all of the students who worked to compete at the National Level. I would like to thank the Cheraw High Family and our community for the financial support which enabled our students to have this awesome experience."
