Curriculum

Curriculum offerings in college prep, honors, AP, dual credit, and Career and Technology Education (CATE) allow students to select units required for graduation. Students are urged to select the highest level of academic course work they can handle successfully and to select CATE courses related to career goals.

With passage of the Education and Economic Development Act, Personal Pathways to Success allows students to make a smooth and successful transition from middle school to high school to post secondary education and then to the 21st century workforce. Students at Long Middle School work with parents, counselors, and teachers to begin developing an Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) to include academic as well as career-related courses and goals.
