Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year

Serving as the principal of Cheraw High School continues to be one of the greatest honors of my professional career. Each year, I become even more inspired by the dedication of our students, staff, families, and community. Together, we have made meaningful progress in strengthening our school culture, increasing student achievement, and creating a learning environment where high expectations and strong relationships go hand in hand.

As we begin this new school year, our theme is Moving Forward Together! This theme reflects our commitment to continuous improvement through collaboration, shared responsibility, and a steadfast focus on student success. While we celebrate the progress we have made, we recognize that there is still important work ahead. We will continue to strengthen teaching and learning, support the academic and social-emotional growth of every student, promote a safe and welcoming school environment, and expand opportunities that prepare our students for success beyond high school.

I firmly believe that every student can succeed when surrounded by caring adults who believe in them and challenge them to reach their full potential. Together, we will continue fostering a culture of excellence, respect, accountability, and belonging, where every student feels valued, and every staff member is empowered to make a difference.
