The CHS —Parent Compact is an agreement between the school, parents and students that firmly unites us. The School - Parent Compact was developed jointly with school staff, students, and parents. CHS will focus its School - Parent Compact on the academic standards to support all students and help them reach proficiency or beyond in reading, writing and mathematics. Below are ways each team member will be held accountable for helping to achieve this goal.

School Administration, Staff, and Teachers Will:

  • Provide high quality curriculum and instruction in a supportive and effective learning environment that enables the children served to meet the challenging state academic standards.
  • Participate in ongoing communication with parents during parent/teacher conferences at least annually, during which this compact will be discussed as it relates to the child's achievement.
  • Provide frequent reports to parents on their child's progress.
